Lana Del Rey caught fans by surprise when she released her song First Light, the official theme song for the James Bond video game, 007: First Light. 

Australian indie-pop band Spacey Jane released their new song, “Do You Really Love Her,” on March 13, and I’ve had it on repeat ever since. The single leans into a hazy, echo-filled indie style reminiscent of the 80s, with soft synths and dreamy production.

In the newest album from the iconic band Gorillaz, there’s an incredibly well-produced song about the loss you feel when someone you love leaves in one way or another. The album, called The Mountain, was released in January, and much of it stems from a deep feeling of personal loss experienced by two band members, as well as a life-changing trip to India.

This Irish rock band is making waves with their hit single “Storm Warnings” from their new EP Spring Forward. Their intense sound cuts through the heart and transforms ideas of love, yearning, and, ultimately, heartbreak. 

Back for her third album, Cruel World, Holly Humberstone brings her dreamy, indie pop sound to “To Love Somebody,” a fun ballad about loving, losing, and being human.

Similar to another song that we covered a couple of weeks ago, “Obvious” by Wet Leg is a part of the collaboration album done by War Child Records, on their newest compilation album, Help(2).

One of Boston’s local bands, The Grownup Noise, is back with their newest album, No Straight Line in the Universe. The 2026 album has multiple upbeat and catchy songs on it, but today we are bringing “See You in the Hall” to your attention!

With hits like “back to friends” and “12 to 12”, sombr redefines pop music with his vulnerable lyrics about love and nostalgic sound. Sombr has made a big splash with his first studio album, I Barely Know Her,  and now, his new hit single “Homewrecker” marks the continuation of his success. 

There are a lot of things that we inherit from our parents. For Violet Grohl, musical prowess is definitely what she got from her dad. On her new single, “THUM,” Grohl manages to create a sound for herself different from that of Foo Fighters or any of her dad’s projects. In this song, she comes into her own. 

A$AP Rocky is officially back. The Harlem native just dropped his new single, “Punk Rocky,” a genre-blending track that signals the arrival of his fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, released on January 16. It’s his first full-length project since 2018.

Snail Mail’s new album is set to come out this March–The track “Dead End” has been released this January for all of your listening pleasure. Lindsey Jordan, AKA Snail Mail, has returned after almost five years to make herself heard (and we are listening!).

Joe Keery, better known to some as Djo, continues to prove he’s one of the most exciting artists shaping modern indie music. “Delete Ya,” the fifth track of his third studio album The Crux (released April of 2025), is a standout moment on a record obsessed with identity, memory, and the uncomfortable distance between who we were and who we’ve become.
