You'll hear new music every day, excellent local bands, and some songs you might already know. Expect no commercials, just a full afternoon of music curated by a host whose deep love and knowledge of music shines through every day.
On Thursdays, we do a dedicated throwback set at 5 pm celebrating a different icon. Whether you're itching to discover new tunes, or you want to reconnect with your favorite tunes - you're in good company!
Get to know Eva, host of Afternoons on WERS:
Afternoon host Eva Windler has been working at 88.9 WERS since 2022. Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, she now studies Writing, Literature, Publishing at Emerson College. She loves the Lumineers and Arlo Parks, and her favorite part of working at WERS is making playlists that cover a variety of musical styles and moods. Most days, you can find her in the station or exploring the Boston Public Library. She is so excited to be working as the afternoon host and Program Coordinator at WERS and to continue sharing great music with the Boston community. Rock on!
