Expect no commercials, just a full afternoon of music curated by hosts whose deep love and knowledge of music shines through every day.
On Thursdays, we do a dedicated throwback set at 5 pm celebrating a different icon. Whether you're itching to discover new tunes, or you want to reconnect with your favorite tunes - you're in good company!
About Parker
Parker is a proud Emersonian and Massachusetts native, who is thrilled to be fulfilling her career goal of being on-air in her favorite city. Getting to do it at the station that started it all for her is just chef’s kiss. She’s screaming a little bit writing this bio right now.
She’s long had a passion for music starting with listening to the Oldies, especially the Beatles (thanks to her mom), and later her all-time favorites, Green Day (thanks to her angst).
She has spent some time around the dial, at WPLM in college alongside WERS, as well as at Boston rock staples WZLX and WAAF (RIP) doing everything from driving the very questionable van to eventually exercising her craft as an on air personality.
Parker has a background in creative content marketing as Emerson’s inaugural social media manager, along with various professional experience in higher ed.
She can often be found adding to her vinyl collection in all the fun record shops she can find or second hand shopping for anything that’ll allow her to dress like Joan Jett and/or Stevie Nicks. She loves all things witchy, including her cat, Lucifer, who is her favorite furry little shadow.
