Hey, my old WERS app doesn’t work anymore!  What’s up with that?!

We updated our apps and they’re so much better now!  If your devices install automatic app updates, you should have the new version. If it’s not on your device, manually update it and/or go to your app store to install it.

What’s new on the apps?

Lots! They look better, sound better, and are wicked easy to use!

The biggest updates are:

With one touch, you can easily stream your choice of three stations: 88.9 WERS, WERS HD-2 (ERS +, The Black Experience)  and Standing Room Only 24/7.

The app shows up on your dash using Apple Car Play or Android Auto. One touch and you’re streaming in the car!

Plus, now you can:

  • See our programming lineup or recent playlists.  
  • Donate to the station to show your support for local independent radio
  • Listen to shows you missed like Wicked Local Wednesday, Chagigah, The Secret Spot, Standing Room Only, The Salt Lick Sessions, or The Coffeehouse
  • Leave us a voice message, request, or comment
  • Share your concert photos and video with us
  • Set ‘ERS to be your alarm clock
