What: WERS Community Service Fundraiser
When: All of December (Telethon –4th – 6th)
How: For every $500 given collectively by supporters to WERS this December, our students, staff, and members will volunteer one hour of community service at Rosie’s Place.
Who benefits: The homeless and financially struggling women aided by Rosie’s Place will benefit from the community service made possible by the generosity of WERS donors. Founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States, Rosie’s Place provides a safe and nurturing environment that helps women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity, and find security in their lives.
