WERS 88.9 fm - Performance Wrap-Up: The Walkmen

Hamilton Leithauser, Walter Martin, and Peter Maroon of The Walkmen performed live, in-studio complete with a horn section and a volunteer WERS-staffed tambourine player. The group was in town to kick off a fifteen-city tour in support of their latest release, You and Me. They played, “Canadian Girl” and “Red Moon” off the new album and closed with an older favorite, “Louisiana” from 2006’s, A Hundred Miles Off.
