On the Verge: David Ford

At 4:15 PM each Tuesday, WERS brings you our On the Verge segment which highlights an artist we think is up-and-coming.

This week’s artist On The Verge is singer/songwriter David Ford. Ford comes to the WERS studio all the way from the UK. Before going solo, Ford found success with the British indie group Easyworld, who put out three albums between 1996-2004. After releasing four solo albums, Ford is no stranger to the spotlight, especially after touring with acts like KT Tunstall, Ray Lamontagne, Ingred Michaelson, and Elvis Costello.

His first solo album, I Sincerely Apologize For All the Trouble I’ve Caused, was released in the United States in 2006. His most recent album, Charge, came out earlier this year and features the single “Pour a Little Poison.” The album is produced by James Brown, who recently worked on Dave Grohl’s Sound City project.

Make sure to tune in today at 4:15 to hear David Ford’s On The Verge session at WERS!
