Concert Watch: November 8-11

Wild FeathersBaseball season is over and Boston came out on top! Wooooo! But with the World Series wrapped up there are still plenty more exciting happenings in Boston, including a couple sold out concerts, so consider yourself lucky if you managed to grab a ticket to any of these:

Friday, November 8 – Kate Nash @ House of Blues

The British are coming! Kate Nash heads to the House of Blues this Friday with a tongue-in-cheek attitude rivaling Lily Allen’s. But Nash is no poseur. When she plays live she gives her songs a punk-rock edge unlike any you’d ever hear from most female singers within the past few years.

Saturday, November 9 – Matt Nathanson w/ Joshua Radin @ House of Blues

Lexington-born singer-songwriter and self-proclaimed Last of the Great Pretenders Matt Nathanson returns for yet another sold out show at the House of Blues in Boston. If Nathanson’s fun and heartfelt songs don’t pull you in, then his charming and witty stage banter will! With Joshua Radin in tow this show’s bound to be a great time.

Monday, November 11 – Gary Clark Jr. w/ The Wild Feathers @ Royale

Big sold out double-header here! Gary Clark Jr. is such a well-respected guitarist that he was invited to play with the Rolling Stones multiple times, including their TD Garden concert in Boston earlier this year. Meanwhile the Wild Feathers released their highly anticipated self-titled debut and also played a show at the Paradise Rock Club with ZZ Ward last month. Now the Wild Feathers have joined Gary Clark Jr. on tour so they could come back for more!
