Boston police say they are close to determining the culprit behind the kidnapping and stabbing of South Boston resident Amy Lord.
Boston Police Superintendent William Evans said the evidence being gathered included footage from surveillance cameras, DNA evidence, fingerprints, and Lord’s car, which was found burning on a South Boston street shortly before Lord herself was discovered, dead, in a wooded area.
The Boston Police Department said they plan to hold a meeting Monday night to address the community’s concerns.
Police Commissioner Ed Davis said investigators are focused on one person as a potential suspect.
The 24-year old Wilbraham native had worked for a digital marketing and web design firm in the South End for the past two years.
