New Live Video From Walk The Moon

walk-the-moon-08Walk The Moon has been one of my favorite bands of the year with their release of their debut album, Walk the Moon in June of 2012. The album is full of hits like “Anna Sun” and “Tightrope.” The band has been touring in the United Kingdom and Europe for a while now and has also made appearances on late night shows like Conan and Letterman.

The pop quartet that is Walk The Moon puts on great shows as seen in the many videos uploaded to Youtube of their performances. Just the other day Walk The Moon uploaded a video to VEVO of a show they performed last year at the Theater for the Living Arts South Street in Philadelphia. This video was special because it showed the band playing a tribute to the legendary band the Talking Heads by playing “Burning Down The House.”

Walk The Moon and the Talking Heads have a similar sound with the synth and sweeping guitars. Even though Walk The Moon has a more pop sound, their sound is very inspired by the Talking Heads. Walk The Moon will have a busy schedule ahead of them while performing at Sasquatch Music Festival, Firefly, and Bonnaroo.
