Wayne Potash Live In Studio

Live Music Week happens bi-annually at WERS to raise money to keep our station running. We ask if you can pledge your support in order to keep us live on air, bringing you live performances from your favorite musicians. Pledges can be made here

I was very lucky to interview Wayne Potash for the second time, for our Live Music Week! He had a couple surprises up his sleeve today like an intro song “The March Of The Leprechauns” which he played for Saint Patrick’s Day! Wayne also wore his favorite hat which is a red baseball cap with a shark going through it! Yes, it actually looked like a shark was swimming through his head! Wayne had four great songs for us today which consisted of: “I Like Trucks”, “Shy Shark”, and “Dogs In Outer Space.”

I was able to find out that Wayne Potash used to live on a farm and that his favorite truck is a big truck on a farm where he can pull hay for all the animals. I must say I was so excited that Wayne Potash played Shy Shark because it is one of my personal favorite songs! His song “Dogs In Outer Space” is one of his very first songs that he had written with his old punk band and remade for his new album called Yes!

Wayne Potash always looks forward to coming to WERS, and we love having him here! If you are interested in doing an egghunt with Wayne, head on over to Belmont, MA on March 30th where you can see him at 10am for some fun. If you are interested in hearing Wayne Potash and the rest of the band in a concert on May 18th at 11am you can head on over to Brookline!
