New song from Chris Brown, “Let The Blunt Go” rose to number one on hotnewhiphop.com reaching 76,180 Views on the website the first week. It is totally different from his style when he first debuted as a young 16-year-old boy hitting the music industry hard. Brown was the first male artist to climb to the top of the charts in over a decade when he first debuted. Unfortunately, he has been dismissed in recent years due to an assault charge on his girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, but after the news attention on that died down he delved back into the world of music and kept evolving his sound.
“Let The Blunt Go,” is a really catchy new contribution to his extensive discography with its steady beat and catchy lyrical hook. Compared to Brown’s earlier work this song is unmistakably different which shows how much change he has gone through but lucky for us, his new musical works are another side of the singer that fit perfectly in the forever-changing world of Hip Hop.
