After the frenzy of Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation, the question arises as to who his next potential successor who will be. Roman Catholic’s archbishop, Cardinal Sean P. O’Malley has been mentioned by a number of Italian Vatican-watchers as a possibility. Is it possible for an American to be considered for the position?
