Lady Lamb the Beekeeper – TT the Bear’s—Friday, February 22th
Declared the Best in Boston by the Improper Bostonian in the summer of 2012, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper is the stage name of solo artist Aly Spaltro, who is celebrating the release of her first full-length album Ripely Pine this Friday night at TT the Bear’s. With her soulful, highly personal music and out-of-this-world one-woman guitar skills, you’ll be howling right along with her.
Beach Fossils—TT the Bears—Sunday, February 24th
Beach Fossils are an indie rock band from Brooklyn who first cut their teeth with their stand-out self-titled 2010 album, and they’re currently touring the club circuit to promote their sophomore release Clash the Truth. After departure of bassist John Pena for his band Heavenly Beat, the band is rocking a new lineup and is sure to tear down TT’s.
EELS—Paradise Rock Club—Wednesday, February 27th
After the release of long-awaited album Wonderful, Glorious , the EELS of alt-rock fame have mellowed into middle age with grace and are fully embracing frontman E’s newfound happiness and departure from a traditional sound to a more upbeat sound.
