Solid Sound Arts and Music Line-Up Announced

Wilco’s annual North Adams-based festival, Solid Sound Arts and Music, has just announced their initial line-up for 2013. Spread out over the weekend of June 21st-23rd, the festival will feature two headline performances by Wilco along with a plethora of band side projects which include individual performances by Wilco member and guitar virtuoso Nels Cline.

Of course, the festival also has a great line-up for those eager to explore bands outside of the Wilco universe. Yo La Tengo are set to play two sets, the elusive Neko Case to play her only (currently) announced North American set, hugely influential tropicalia act Os Mutantes will be hitting the stage and legendary paisley undergrounders The Dream Syndicate are reuniting for their first show in over twenty-four years. Exciting stuff! The festival also features some newer bands such as White Denim and psychedelic explorers Foxygen.

Held at the beautiful MASS MoCA, it’s certainly a treat for Massachusetts to host such an awesome festival. TIckets are on sale now.
