So it’s Valentine’s Day– you’re in a relationship, you’re lonely, or you’re living with your mom. Some combination of the three. What better way to spend V-Day than with four weird looking guys from Colorado? The 90’s hitmakers are still touring with material new and old, and if you’re looking for a big-domed, smiling saxophone player to cap off your holiday, then this is your show.
The Punch Brothers, Saturday at the House of Blues
Fresh off the release of their Ahoy! EP this past November, the bluegrass quartet has plenty of newmaterial and the same Americana energy to pack a serious– well, we’ll spare you the pun. Best of all, the show is presented by Newport Folk Festival– as if we needed more of a reason to be amped for this summer!
