The Killers Release Holiday & Charity Single

Over the past seven years, The Killers have been releasing annual Christmas singles to help ring in the holidays, and this year was no exception. Last Tuesday saw the release of the Killers’ seventh Christmas single “I Feel It in My Bones” featuring Ryan Pardey and a new music video to go with it. “I Feel It in My Bones” is a sequel to the group’s 2007 single “Don’t Shoot Me Santa” and depicts lead singer Brandon Flowers pleading to a vengeful Santa Claus. This psychotic Santa (played by Ryan Pardey) rejects Flowers’ pleas and, using a festive array of machetes and grenades, seeks out the band on motorcycle to “make an example out of [them].”

As with The Killers’ previous six Christmas singles, which were rereleased in a compilation EP last year titled (RED) Christmas, all sales of “I Feel It In My Bones” will benefit the (RED) campaign to stomp out HIV and Aids in Africa. The Killers are also on tour and will perform with Tegan and Sara at a sold out Agganis Arena show in Boston on December 17.
