On The Verge: Kate Miller-Heidke

At 4:15 PM each Tuesday, WERS brings you our On The Verge segment which highlights an artist we think is up-and-coming. This week’s artist On The Verge is from a singer-songwriter all the way from Australia, Kate Miller-Heidke.

She  is classically trained with degrees from Queensland Conservatorium of Music and Queensland University of Technology  in vocal performance and has won numerous prizes for classical performance. Miller-Heidke has also performed in musicals and operas such as The Turn Of The Screw, Sweeney Todd, Un Ballo In Maschera, and Don Pasquale. Her new record, Nightflight, was released earlier this year.
