New Releases Tuesday

Welcome to New Releases Tuesday on WERS. Every Tuesday we’ll take a look around the music scene and bring you updates on, you guessed it, the new albums coming out this week.

PHILLIP PHILLIPS: WORLD FROM THE SIDE OF THE MOON
Phillip Phillips, the winner of the eleventh season of American Idol who is already climbing the Triple A charts released his debut album, World From The Side Of The Moon, today. The twenty-two year old singer-songwriter is from Leesburg Georgia and earned the title of American Idol just this past May. The album includes the single, “Home”.

LED ZEPPELIN: CELEBRATION DAY: LIVE
In 2007 the remaining members of Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant, Jimmy Paige, and John Paul Jones performed live together for the first time in 30 years . The concert took place at 02 in London in honor of Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records. Plant, Paige and Jones were joined by Jason Bonham, son of the late John Bonham, on drums. The live recording of this concert was made available today.
