Introducing the Rise Up Di Duppy Dem mixtape which was just released this month by DJ Kenny, coming to you straight from Jamaica. This mixtape is a fun way to keep hot as winter approaches. It combines 52 of the best dancehall songs right now in to an entertaining hour and twenty minute long mix. DJ Kenny even managed to sneak in Dancehall versions of PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” and Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know. It definitely keeps the mix fun.
Variation is definitely something this tape does not shy away from with songs by Aiadonia and Vybz Kartel, to PopCaan, Mavado, and I Octane, and many more. While the transitions aren’t always smooth, there’s no annoying over using of sound effects or cutting of the songs as soon as you get in to. It’s definitely a mix to download before your next party. You can download it at mediaz-empire.biz.
