Mixtape Mayhem: TRAPGOD

The Brick Squad boss is official back with his newest mixtape, TRAPGOD. This mixtape brought Burrman back to his basics, the raw trap music that holds nothing back… at all. The mixtape features a whole gang of guest MCs likes Rozay, Birdman, Waka, T-Pain, Kirko Bangz, and more. While producers like Lex Luger, Kevin McCall, Mike Will, Drumma Boy, Shawty Redd and others help bring that south rhythm. Gucci’s utilizes that unique southern drawl which is loved in all musical genres he encounters.

“Get Money Ni***” is the best record on the 20 track project. Meek Mill solid execution and his animated style steals the show. Mill’s MMG boss Rick Ross is featured on “Head Shots” produced by Tarentino of 808 Mafia. Which is a decent song, however, it sounds like everything else Rozay and Gucci put out together. In other Gucci Mane related news, he recently started his beef with Young Jeezy and that seem to have re-energized his sound. The only video from TRAPGOD is called TRUTH, where Gucci discusses rumors and history involving him and Young Jeezy. Gucci Mane recently stated that he plans on being in the studio for the next few months to work on new material. Only four tracks don’t feature a guest rapper or singer and the project could use more Gucci himself, however, more will be coming out from Gucci Mane in the coming months.
