Tegan & Sara Set Release Date For Heartthrob

Tegan and Sara have offered a video to relieve fans of their curiosity. They have officially stated that their new album, Heartthrob, will be released on January 29th in North America and February 18th in the U.K.

As the band tours with The Killers, they are determined to keep close to their fans, releasing “Closer” and “I’m Not Your Hero” from the upcoming Heartthrob. As they have built up such anticipation, they have also announced an opportunity to see a Tegan and Sara headlining show in New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on November 19th.

Tegan and Sara will play the show with the New York band Chaos Chaos to raise proceeds for Safe Horizons. Safe Horizons is aiding victims of Hurricane Sandy that are facing domestic violence and homelessness. This will not only be a way to get ahead of the curb with Heartthrob, but also a chance to give to a community that has dealt with so much this past week.
