Passion Pit to Tour

While once walking the halls of Emerson College, I’m sure Michael Angelakos, now lead vocalist of the group Passion Pit, would not have predicted the success he and fellow members of Passion Pit are experiencing today. Locals of Cambridge, Massachusetts, the group originated back in the year 2007 and since then has embarked on an incredible journey throughout the music industry. From the release of their first EP, Chunk of Change, back in early 2008 to the release of their current album, Gossamer, this past summer, Passion Pit is gaining the recognition they deserve.

With their first Gossamer single “Take A Walk”  being played throughout various television shows and commercials (such as the most recent Taco Bell ad), Passion Pit has been gaining new recognition at a growing rate. Due to their rising success, Passion Pit has just announced a North American tour starting in the new year of 2013. Kicking off the tour in February with support from duo, Matt & Kim, Passion Pit will be hitting all parts of the US. Be sure to check out the Massachusetts natives, as they’ll be performing at Agganis Arena on February 9, and to purchase their new album, Gossamer, in stores now.
