Last week New York-based indie-pop group Fun. released a new music video for their latest inspirational power ballad “Carry On,” which tries to portray a realistic image of what life is like for the band on tour. The new video, directed by Anthony Mandler who also directed Fun.’s previous music video, opens with backstage footage of the band accompanied by a lengthy, solo piano intro. The video proceeds to depict the band running, dancing and bar-hopping through the streets of New York and features additional footage from their sold out Terminal 5 show earlier this year.
Fun. also recently announced that they will appear on Saturday Night Live this Saturday and will embark on new US tour next January. This includes a stop at the Orpheum Theater in Boston on February 1 where tickets are already selling out fast. More information on the tour and the music video for “Carry On” can be found online at the band’s official website.
