Road Trippin’, Kool-Aid Sippin’, Chicken, Beef Patties and Herb
Boston is a city teaming with talent, which rap duo Notoriety proves without question. Road Trippin’, Kool-Aid Sippin’, Chicken, Beef Patties and Herb is a tape that takes a break from praising a reckless lifestyle popularized by hip-hop today and instead takes on a mellower theme that its title suggests. Vyndie Sinez and Incredible Chuck contemplate their past, and come to term with their goals, with a reassurance of good times had and to come mixed in. They play with darker themes of the street, a determination to succeed, and taking time to appreciate small things that make us smile. Frequent collaborator The Technician, with other guests mixed in produces the majority of the tape; the sound recalls a more calm and relaxed time in hip-hop, providing a soundtrack for plenty of head nodding.
