Death toll from meningitis outbreak rises

There are now 24 deaths from the meningitis outbreak, which stemmed from Framingham’s New England Compound Center.

Investigations into the drugs at The New England Compound Center found black specks of fungus linked to the meningitis outbreak. This led Massachusetts officials to remove the NECC’s license. (Reporter Erin Connolly)
