Riddim Watch: Wild Bubble

Producer and radio DJ ZJ Chrome, dominating the airwaves all the way from Jamaica’s Zip FM radio has released a new riddim. Titled Wild Bubble, this compilation boasts a tracklist with genre heavyweights such as Tony Matterhorn, Aidonia, and Vybz Kartel, all breaking it down on tracks so contagious that you can’t help but move.

I personally caught myself dancing in my chair during my first listen – and it’s hard not to. Tifa dominates on “Show Me the Bubble,” instructing her man on how to effectively handle Dancehall’s resident diva. Tracks like Aidonia’s “Jook So,” Popcaan’s “Food Haffi Run,” and collaborative effort “Voicemail” have beats crafted in a way that they pack a punch without being extraneous nor overpowering, and Matterhorn’s raunchy “Stop Watch You” provides everything you need to take your party to new heights.

Having been released at the tail-end of August, Wild Bubble’s hot tracks still resonate as some of the best new releases on the reggae/dancehall scene. With a line-up this solid, it would be a mistake not to listen.

Wild Bubble can be purchased on iTunes. Be sure to listen to Rockers from 7-10PM Monday-Friday to hear this and all the newest and hottest riddims, from Kingston to Boston!
