Jack White Disappoints (But Bounces Back) in NYC

Jack White, just a day after his performance in Boston, completely let down his fans at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Saturday October 29th. After a few snide comments to the crowd and claiming that he was displeased with the level of energy and the sound, White left the stage after performing for just under an hour. Other news sources also report White had a few heated interactions with a shirtless fan by the front of the stage who was later removed by security. Fans, who had paid $40 a ticket, continued to cheer once he left the stage but resentment began to grow once White’s roadies began to unplug and pack up all of his gear. The crowd continuously chanted “Seven Nation Army” but eventually turned into booing. Their anger spilled out onto the streets of New York as fans began to congregate by the back entrance of the venue and cause even more of a ruckus.

However, Jack White returned to Radio City Music Hall the next day and managed to rock the pants off of the crowd with an 85-minute set of 21 different songs. White barely spoke a word to the crowd; he let his guitar do the speaking for him.
