This or That: “Killing Me Softly”

“Killing Me Softly with His Song ” by Roberta Flack  VS “Killing Me Softly” by The Fugees

Both versions won a Grammy Award for the song and were recorded by icons of their time. However, I am going to have to go with The Fugees. Roberta Flack and Lauren Hill both sing the song with passion and blows me away with their vocal ability, but The Fugees version adds a nice smooth R&B/ Hip Hop beat, developing the song from more than just one beautiful voice into something memorable with a catchy background.
