Get ready Playgrounders! This fall the Coolidge Corner Theatre is launching a new season of Weekend Children Shows. Every weekend there will be a highly anticipated kids group performing just for you!

The season kicks off on Sunday, October 14, with singer-song writer Vanessa Trien & the Jumping Monkeys. Who will be also be debuting her brand new album, Bubble Ride. Several other Playground favorites will also be performing in the later weeks of the special season, including Mister G, Billy Kelly & the Blah Blah Blahs, Bari Karol Family Rock Band, Ben Rudnick & Friends, as well as Alastair Moock.

This exciting new season presented by the Coolidge Corner Theatre is not just for the fall. It will extend into the holiday season and thus have some extra special events for the holidays. On December 8th, there will be a showing of the classic film A Muppet Christmas Carol. Join Kermit, Miss Piggy and award winning actor, Michael Cain for a fun and magical interpretation of Charles Dickens’s classic novel. Then the next weekend is Alastair Moocks’ Holiday Extravaganza, which will feature a few very special guests and together they will preform several original songs as well as many holiday favorites.

The Coolidge Corner Theatre is one of the nation’s most prominent independent theatres and is located in the heart of Coolidge Corner in Brookline, MA. The theatre’s new season of kid shows will be tremendous fun for all ages.
