Chicago’s Lollapalooza might have been given a run for its money this year with the storm evacuations, but they still keep dreaming big, now adding multiple locations for Lollapalooza 2013. Founder Perry Farrell wants to hold a Lollapalooza in not only Chicago next year, but Israel, Brazil, and Chile as well.
Seeing that these new locations do not get many bands to come their way, the festival will expand music to new audiences and definitely change expectations of festivals.
Farrell has explained how attracted he is to the environment of these new locations. He shows confidence in how smoothly he pulls together Lollapalooza in Chicago and says that the new locations can expect no less.
While you are planning the rest of the year, look a little further into your calendar. All four 2013 Lollapalooza destinations have been given dates:
Brazil: March 29th-31st
Chile: April 6-7
Chicago: August 2nd-4th
Israel (Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park): August 20th-22nd
