The Boss is Coming to Boston & Expands Summer Tour

The classics are making a comeback in Beantown in 2012. Neil Young and Crazy Horse are going to be playing the TD Bank North Garden November 26th, but there is even more anticipation for a touring true blooded American. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are going to be playing to back-to-back shows at Boston’s most hallowed ground, Fenway Park. Fenway has the distinct honor of kicking off the second leg of Springsteen’s Wrecking Ball World Tour to promote his 17th album, Wrecking Ball.

The Wrecking Ball Tour has started in Atlanta on March 18th in Atlanta, has already played 83 shows, and has now been expanded with a whopping 30 shows until December (bringing the total up to 113). The band just finished an 11 week run over in Europe but I doubt they are tired. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band will rattle the Green monster on August 14th and 15th. They will also show some love to the Patriots and play one more Massachusetts show at Gillette Stadium on August 18th. Based on the ticket sales totals so far, this tour is on its way to grossing over 100 million dollars in revenue.
