Every July since 2005, the Brooklyn Bodega puts on a historical event called the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. It took place this year at the Brooklyn downtown waterfront and attracted over 20,000 people. Legendary hip-hop acts perform there every year and it is always full of surprise guests.
The picture above is from this year’s Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. Busta Rhymes was the headliner this year. During his performance, Busta reunited legendary groups A Tribe Called Quest and Leaders of the New School for a performance of their classic old school hit “scenario (remix)”.
