The Celestial Riddim is a new riddim just released by Blu Flame Music this month. The Celestial Riddim features seven different artists, most notably Capleton and Lutan Fyah. The groove showcases an interesting split between classic roots/dub type vibes with instrumentation more typical of more modern and dancehall styles. Dramatic keyboard and synth lines give the groove a much more well rounded character, balancing melody with the vocals and rhythm. Most of the vocalists featured on the track lean more toward the dancehall traditions of vocal style, except that the tempos are heavily reduced. This riddim will appeal to people looking for a nice chilled out reggae groove, as well as people looking for something a bit more versatile, with some RnB tendencies and changes.
Be sure to listen to Rockers from 7-10PM Monday-Friday to hear this and all the newest and hottest riddims, from Kingston to Boston!
