Looking to liven up your Friday nights? Well look no further because we at Rockers on 88.9WERS have found the hottest new dance hall mix tape. The Cool Swagg Riddim, produced by Mad Media House, will have you winning the nearest guy or gal like it’s your job! Straight from Jamaica, this mix presents a solid variation of tempos, from “Wine Mi Gyal” by Ras J, which is sure to get you out of your seats, to “Loving This Girl” by Teflon, which is a little slower and perfect for sharing a moment on the dance floor with the one you love. And with the songs “Shake Up Your Body” by Free Speech and “Mek It Drop” by Squaddy, you will be doing nothing less when you hear them. Also featured on the mix are artists Natural Black, and Faithful, whose songs have very similar beats, but completely different messages in “F** Them Hard” and “Get Gal Free.”
The songs are extremely catchy and you’ll find yourself singing the words like it’s been your favorite CD for years. Definitely a crowd pleaser with a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, with all of the West Indian parades around the corner, from here in Boston to all the way in Canada, you’re going to want to have these songs in your dance hall collection to spice up the festivities. The one fault with this CD is that there are no girls featured on any of the tracks. But with that being the only problem, it’s still a definite download if you’re looking to move ya body and get the party started.
Be sure to listen to Rockers from 7-10PM Monday-Friday to hear this and all the newest and hottest riddims, from Kingston to Boston!
