The Beautiful Beyond Riddim is a new riddim to come out on Sartout Records, featuring Claudius England on vocals. Using the bouncy and highly melodic beat as his backdrop, England is able to spin a soulful love song that would appeal to not only a reggae audience, but a R&B one as well. While keeping its reggae flavor largely due to the offbeat keyboard hits, the song has a strong R&B sensibility, giving it lots of crossover appeal. England’s highly spiritual nature is easy to detect in the song’s delivery, and in it’s lyrical interpretation as well. The riddim itself has lots of potential to work with a variety of different vocal approaches as well. While a distinct melody is strongly featured in the riddim, it’s open enough to leave plenty of room to be worked with and improved upon vocally. The riddim’s relaxed groove and melody provide a perfect base for the ballad-type lyrics and vibe.
