Riddims Watch: Speak Out Riddim

Newly released from Asid Reignz Music, the lengthy and energetic Speak Out Riddim features some of the biggest names in dancehall all combined onto one impressive track. The official release clocks in at an imposing 15 minutes, giving ample time for all of the numerous artists to get enough time to really showcase their take on the riddim. The beat itself is an upbeat dancehall groove, with melodic keyboards floating into the flow often enough to give the track some extra flavor and character. The track kicks off with two of dancehall’s most prominent artists, Konshens and Beenie Man. Also featured is Mr. Easy with several different collaborators, as well as Gappy Ranks and Spragga Benz. The whole riddim sounds like a well mixed club record, with each track flowing seamlessly into one another following the riddim’s groove. This riddim is well worth a listen for any dancehall fan. Even if you don’t love the riddim itself, it should be worth checking in to see for most fans wanting to see what these artists have been up to.
