
Emerson College was recently featured in the ProArts Connection’s first annual Give Luck a Chance Spring Arts Festival.
Emerson students were featured in the event which allowed students working in all media to meet and collaborate on films, music, visual and literary art projects surrounding on the themes of luck, accidents, and improvisation.
Exhibits at the festival included collaborations with Emerson students Donnie Welch, whose poetry was combined with a live art reaction to Welch’s performance, and Melissa Rogers who screened her photo representation of Charles Bukowski’s poem, “Luck”.
Serenata de Amor, a musical theater project spearheaded by visual media arts associate professor Claire Andrade-Watkins, was brought to Emerson this past year.
