Live Music Week: Thank You

WERS is a family and like all families, sometimes we have to come together and give a little bit more than we are used to to keep the family going and growing. This week, the staff, hosts, and volunteers at WERS gave their time and energy, many local and national artists who we are proud to consider part of the WERS family gave their songs and talents. And you, our listeners, neighbors, brothers, sisters, spouses, fellow music lovers, and lifelong Bostonians (no matter where in the world you may be listening to us from), you gave us your generous support and with your help we beat out goal of $110,000 this week! From everyone at WERS we say,

THANK YOU!!!!

Your support to WERS keeps our DJs in the studio 24/7-365 so you’re never listening to a computer. Your support allows us to offer you more in-studio performances from our state-of-the-art recording and performance studio and our live streaming video booth than any other station. Your support allows us to spend time listening and seeking out great local and unknown talent not chasing corporate advertisers, meaning WERS is proud to offer truly the best music out there, not just the music least likely to upset the corporations.

Recap all of Live Music Week with feature videos and articles!

Most of all your support ensures that WERS is able to grow, not just survive. WERS is committed to discovering the best in new, local, international, and independent music. Our brand new website, video gallery, in depth coverage of the premier music festivals and conferences around the country, news and public affairs programming, and events like our recent Reykjavik Calling or the upcoming Magnetic Fields at the Berklee Performance Center concert are all because of YOU!

Thank you for your continued support as we help you discover your next favorite band on your ever-favorite station!
