WERS music director featured in radio industry publication

Mariel Wade, music director for WERS, was profiled by allaccess.com for her work as Music Director of WERS 88.9 FM, Emerson’s award-winning, student-run radio station.

“Whether I’m working on playlists and trying to pick out a song that I feel will fit in nicely with the set, or if I’m listening to new records to decide what might get added into rotation, the fact that I am constantly engaged with music is just the best,” she told allaccess.com “…There really is such a thrill that one gets from hearing a song [one] loves come on the radio … and the fact that I’m responsible for giving that to people when they turn on WERS is the best feeling!
