Sports may not be everyone’s favorite, but there’s no doubt that they have a huge impact on American culture. This week our reporters examine some of the top sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and hockey, discussing upcoming playoffs, lockouts, and cultural influences. We bring it back to Boston by discussing the upcoming 115th annual Boston Marathon. To close the show, we speak with documentarian and baseball enthusiast Ken Burns, who created a documentary miniseries about ‘America’s Favorite Pastime.’

Serenata de Amor, a musical theater project spearheaded by visual media arts associate professor Claire Andrade-Watkins, was brought to Emerson this past year.
