The Cape Wind Project

Energy powers our world, and there’s not one particularly perfect way to harness it. This week our reporters discuss various renewable and nonrenewable sources of energy, including oil, nuclear, wind, hydroelectric, and solar.

They also examine how energy affects global and political situations, such as Fukushima nuclear power plant, the Cape Wind project, and our involvement in the Middle East. To close the show, we talk with Chief of Environment and Energy Services for the City of Boston, Jim Hunt. He speaks about the work he is doing under Mayor Thomas Menino to promote sustainable energy initiatives throughout the city of Boston.
